Do you struggle with Compulsive Behaviours? Would you like to feel in Control?

Stephanie Jeans

I am an accredited Psychotherapist and Counsellor in private practise and work with non-judgment and compassion to support my clients to facilitate change, growth and move forward to a place of recovery and hope.

I will tailor an individual therapy for your needs if appropriate for you.

How Can Counselling Help Me?

Counselling takes place in a safe, boundaried, non-judgmental space, as I can appreciate what a massive and courageous step it is to seek help for something that is often very misunderstood.

I consider what I do as an absolute privilege and am greatly respectful of the trust clients place in me. I appreciate how difficult it can be to share intimate information with someone you don’t really know, especially if you’ve never had therapy before.

Help For Partners

If you have found out that your partner has a sex or porn addiction, this will be totally devastating for you. This discovery or disclosure may have come out of the blue, or you may have suspected something for a while and now your worst fears are confirmed.

Finding out your partner is struggling with sexually compulsive behaviours will evoke massively powerful feelings such as shock, anger, despair and helplessness.

What is Pornography Addiction?

Porn addiction falls within the scope of sex addiction and is especially a potential danger for younger people who have grown up with easy access to Internet porn. Inevitably this will affect intimacy and what happens down the line with ‘real’ sex and partners.
